    Let me add another one, with some apps you can run your contest through several channels at the same time (for example not only Facebook, but also your own site) that won’t be possible with the Facebook new functionality.

    • That’s a great add! A multi-channel approach is definitely one of the strengths of running a campaign via an app, especially if the brand wants a more structured way to do so. After all, brands may also opt to run the same campaign concurrently and consolidate the entries manually across the channels (which will be highly cumbersome). Thanks for adding that in!
